Did you have an "I'm A Toys R US" Kid!" Shirt in the 80s?
My mom worked at the Toys R US near our house at Christmas time in the 80s.
One time she had us come to the store to pick out shirts. As I remember,
the Toys R Us kids shirts and sweatshirts were on clearance and the employees got to buy
them for $1 each. I think each of us ended up with 5 or 6! I remember wearing my
pink one until it was ragged. Good times!

1982 Hot Wheel Service Center Ad
It seems like everyone had this toy in the 80s.
All of my friends brothers had this folded up somewhere in their room or outside in the
yard. My memories of it look more like what it looks like folded up, than actually in
use!

1917 Toy Pages from John M Smyth Catalog
You know I love old toys, but this old? I don't collect toys quite this old but I can appreciate them and I love to look at toys of any age in old catalogs. I'm fascinated by what children played with in any era. The funny thing is that the toys aren't all that different.

Niresk Industries 1960 Christmas Toy Book & Catalog ~ Mid Century Toys & Dolls!
I found this beautiful catalog at an estate sale of a woman who collected, repaired and created so many lovely dolls. She had binders full of information, articles and even some catalogs. Some of the items in the catalog seem name brand, while some see just a little off. But they all look really neat and the illustrations are lovely.
