Jon Bon Jovi talking about his aches and pains? Seriously, this makes me feel old!
This is a photo of me and my Aunt and Cousin at the Bon Jovi concert in 1988. I was in Junior High and it was the talk of the school. Everyone wanted to go, everyone was talking about who had tickets, who was rumored to have front row tickets, or who knew someone who knew someone who was going to get backstage and meet the band. Most kids didn't get to go to the show. It was on a school night, it cost like $25, which was a fortune for a concert ticket, and it was finals week. Cool thing about my mom was that she would let me skip school and stay up late to go to something as important as a concert! I even got a t-shirt, which cost as much as a concert ticket. I wanted to figure out a way to wear it all the time, so I started using it as my PE shirt. It made me cool for about 3 days. That was pretty good for a kid who did not feel cool. It might have had something to do with the mullet I was rockkin'.
