You all know that I collect Strawberry Shortcake and have been obsessed with her since 1979.
When I started collecting again in the 90s and started to join collector communities, I found photos of
this elusive item and remember going to the store and begging my mom to buy it. She refused
because she knew I didn't like blueberries and probably wouldn't eat them!
I've been looking for YEARS, but of course, people usually didn't keep this box.
A few years ago I got an amazing lot of SSC items from a sweet collector named Emily. Turns out we grew up a couple of blocks apart. We would have been besties if we knew each other!
This box was in the lot, along with several other items I've been looking for for the last 30 years or so!
(I made a video of that haul! It's below the photos.)
I recently found a version of this booklet in French! I decided to make a comparison video. I have included the French scans on this post and I will link the original post with the English version below. Enjoy!
1980, What a magical year! Strawberry Shortcake first came to the market as a doll and a cartoon special. I wanted to visit Strawberryland SO MUCH! (I was 4.)

I am! I want to collect it ALL! Today a 16mm Film of the World of Strawberry Shortcake special showed up on ebay. I only tell you because I already have it! ;-) One of my other hobbies is collecting and watching 16mm so they fit together nicely.
What are you going to be for halloween? I know that the Halloween store doesn't always have what you need. I made some Strawberry Shortcake tights that are on one of my Etsy stores right now. I have them for kids and adults...
And one more.... Masha and the Bear leggings for little girls.
