I always had a hard time playing Q-bert.  I always accidentally jumped off of the side right before I cleared the board.  And then, of course, you get the "#@?!*" .  Which we always assumed meant some kind of cussing.  That's probably
the reason we liked the game.  It just seemed a little sneaky and bad.
